Animal communication is based on deep intuition and feeling
It is based on a telepathic communication.
Telepathy is Greek for feeling across a distance.
Tele = distance. Pathy = feeling.
When we communicate we are feeling impressions across a distance.
Have you ever noticed how you instinctively know something about your animal but you just can't explain it?
That is telepathic communication!
🐾 What is animal communication?
We all have thoughts each day. These thoughts produce feelings and these feelings can intuitively be picked up by others. Animal communication uses this ability to connect with those feelings on an intuitive and telepathic level.
(Telepathy meaning picking up feelings over a distance)
Have you ever noticed you ring someone and you instantly have a 'feeling' without anything being said?
This is communication and our animals will tune into our feelings and thoughts too.
🐾 How does it work?
Practitioners like me often use techniques such as telepathy, images or feeling sensations, communicating with them on an emotional level. It's about tuning into the subtle signals and energies and emotions exchanged between humans and animals.
For example, have you ever noticed your dog looks at you and you instantly know what they want? This is you both connecting on an intuitive level.
🐾 What does a session look like?
Sessions can be done remotely or in person. I will ask for details of your animal and any questions you would like to ask. Some sessions also work well if we let communications happen naturally. I will listen, observe your animal and feeback to you. It's kind of acting like a translator for you.
🐾 What will sessions help with?
Sessions are great to help support with trauma, PTSD or behavioural struggles. It allows the animal to be heard. The sessions help work towards the best possible outcomes for resolution and healing. They can identify health or pain concerns which you can then share with your vet.
Please note these sessions are not meant to be a substitute for medical or vet advice.
🐾 What is Zoopharmacognosy?
The term "zoopharmacognosy" is derived from the Greek words "zoo" (meaning animal), "pharmaco" (meaning drug), and "gnosy" (meaning knowing). Essentially, it refers to the innate ability of animals to select and use medicinal substances to treat various health issues.
This behaviour has been observed in a wide range of species, including primates, birds, mammals, and even insects. For example, chimpanzees have been observed consuming specific plants to treat intestinal parasites, while domestic dogs may eat grass to induce vomiting when they have an upset stomach. Understanding zoopharmacognosy can provide valuable insights into animal behaviour and how you can help them.
Botanical healing offers us a gateway to the natural world, where the healing properties of plants can support the well-being of both humans and dogs. It's about embracing the wisdom of nature and allowing its gentle touch to guide us on our journey of companionship and connection.
🐾 How can it help?
It helps animal caregivers understand the natural remedies animals use in the wild and how these behaviours can be applied to improve the health and well-being. By mimicking natural behaviors and providing access to medicinal plants and substances, zoopharmacognosy can help alleviate stress, manage pain, and promote overall health in animals.
In essence, Zoopharmacognosy offers a window into the sophisticated ways animals interact with their environment to maintain their health, and by studying it, we can develop more holistic approaches to animal care and behaviour management
Animal Communication or Zoopharmacognosy sessions can be 1/2 Hour (£25) or 1 Hour £45)
